July 6, 2026 - DIF drive support, new curated apps, and self-healing improvements

Here is a summary of changes shipped since our last update.

Setup

• Ex-enterprise SAS drives with T10 Protection Information (DIF) formatting are now automatically detected during setup, with a dedicated Format Drives step to prepare them before pool creation

Storage

• Stale pool references in user preferences are now automatically corrected or removed, preventing errors when a previously selected pool no longer exists

App Curations

• Snapotter - Snapotter is a snapshot management tool for your server.
• PairDrop - PairDrop enables local file sharing between devices on the same network.
• Mealie - Mealie is a self-hosted recipe manager and meal planner.
• Linkwarden - Linkwarden is a collaborative bookmark manager for organizing and preserving web content.
• Memos - Memos is a lightweight, self-hosted note-taking and knowledge base.

Increased Reliability

• Main connections are now verified and self-healed on host startup if it is stalled, not running or stopped
